For Nikki Werner, a down to earth attitude is what country music is all
about. So it is no wonder that from an early age, you could find a young
Nikki using her comb as her microphone performing in front of her
mirror, the tunes of her favorite artists. And it's that same youthful
energy and love for country music that is in every breath of her songs.
People have said Nikki's voice is like a combination of the sincerity of
Martina McBride with the attitude of Terri Clark. With a voice that
you won’t soon forget, Nikki’s talent is endless – she has a passion to
create ‘that’ moment with every audience she performs for.
Nikki’s new album, “Girl’s Night In” is a pure example of what Nikki stands for as a woman in today’s society. “You don’t have to play just one role anymore” says a confident Nikki from backstage as she’s sharing a moment with her daughters while talking to fans.
Her new album has a song for everyone. Six of the 10 songs were co-written by Nikki with writers from Canada and Nashville such as Tim Taylor (Aaron Pritchett’s “My Way”) and Rick Tippe, while other songs were penned by noted writers including an updated version of the Bellamy Brothers classic “Let Your Love Flow”. Her first single “How Can You Love Someone” penned by Rodney Atkins has
been well received at Canadian country radio and her new single “Let
Your Love Flow” is currently climbing the charts.
Nikki, a four time B.C. Country Music Award nominee has performed across B.C. and Alberta at venues such as the Merritt Mountain Music Festival and opening for Julian Austin. With a high energy show that features something for everyone - Nikki is a
sure hit with any venue she plays.
“I love performing country music – it’s who I am!”
